Who are you? I’m Allegra. Nice to meet you!
Why did you start this blog? I love reading and I love writing. I read constantly and typically always have a book in my bag. I love getting lost in the stories. I also love writing and reviewing. I decided what better place to combine my two loves here and write about them as I try to meander my way through.
Where did you go to school? I graduated from Illinois Wesleyan with a BA in English-writing.
How long have you been writing? I’ve been writing professionally for four years in a variety of styles and on many different subject matters including real estate, news, local events and theatre.
Do you review anything besides books? I do, I also review Chicago theatre. If you want to check out those reviews visit The Chicago Seen.
Do you have any other talents besides writing? I have an odd knack for hair dying and I teach group fitness: Zumba, Pilates, kickboxing, weight training and abs.
What can I expect from this blog? Honest book reviews, personal thoughts and insights on reading/books/life, favorite book quotes, analysis and recommendations.

What do you do in your free time besides read and write? I hang out with my cat, I attempt to cook, I watch my favorite tv shows (Sex and the City, Friends, Rachel Zoe Project, Project Runway, Glee) (I watch a lot of tv..), I spend time with my friends and family who are awesome and I dance.
